What is the difference between solid wood flooring and engineered wood flooring?
There are several major differences between solid wood flooring and engineered wood flooring. Solid wood flooring tends to be more costly than engineered wood because it is wood in its most natural form. Solid wood flooring is wood cut into pieces that tend to thicker than regular floor panels. After they are cut to a given size, they are later installed in your home or commercial business. Engineered wood flooring, however, is less expensive because it is thinner than the other alternative. Furthermore, the manufacturing process of these types of floorboards is different than that of solid wood. Engineered floor boards are a great option if you are on a budget and are looking for something that not only is beautiful but offers practicality and versatility.
